West University Earns Highest Rating from the Department of Education
West University High School earned a Commendable rating from the Florida Department of Education for its exemplary performance during the 2024-2025 school year. Commendable is the highest rating awarded by the FDOE.
Each year, unless suspended due to a extraordinary event such as the Covid-19 pandemic, West University High School receives a rating from the Florida Department of Education. This rating is based on learning gains of students demonstrated by their performance on state required exams or approved concordant tests. As a result of the preparation and subsequent outstanding performance during the 2024-2025 school year, West University earned the highest of the three possible ratings- Commendable.
